Well, I started making my own cleanse water by following the recommended dose of 16oz in the coffee above to take the first flush at the beginning of spring and then 16oz for flushing again prior to strawberries forming on loganberry bushes this summer! It’s worked out amazing! No flushes but it does taste great!! Definitely recommend doing this if you haven’t yet! I don’t know how I can break down what 16oz really is…but it’s 173 bottles so around 173 servings!!! That might be something worth experimenting with 🙂
Once you start adding food to your diet, especially processed food, you inevitably start adding ingredients that your body doesn’t need…those things fill you up right away without giving you energy or many other benefits since they’re not what your body needs or right for your long-term health. Processed foods are also usually high in Sodium (a lot of salt, way too much), Sugar (many types including fructose which is no good for blood pressure) and Poor nutrition like trans fats & highly refined grains (oils like corn oil completely trap heat because of their consistency). Crossfit, or any form of conditioning program is all about gaining strength and fitness quickly. At the same time it’s about improving your movement performance which will allow you to get the most out of Crossfit! If you’re finding that cardio (running, cycling and swimming) and weights (weights training) are having a negative impact on your ability to complete a full workout then perhaps cross-training would be a better option for you? It doesn’t matter if you’ve never used an elliptical machine before. Or how much weight you can squat (or total), what really matters is how well your body responds to the conditioning programming. So, don’t worry too much about what kind of equipment is available at your local health club; just use whatever type(s) are right for YOU! Just make sure it’s enough to challenge every muscle group throughout the duration of each exercise session. And don’t forget however difficult things might feel in the moment – they’ll only strengthen as long as they stay challenging!
