What To Do Before A Crossfit Workout If You Hurt?

I have a full understanding of the pain and discomforts training can create, particularly in my shoulder joints. Like so many CrossFitters, I have been through hell and back with this pain over the last few years, but that’s relatively old news for me. In fact, if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw a picture from just a couple of months ago where I was literally putting my arm behind my head while wearing an sling because I was too stubborn to even see the doctor about it (and finally caving when all 3 o-rings gave out at once).

Since then I’ve adjusted my programming (mainly reducing squat volume), rested more frequently (every 2nd or third day instead of daily), treated inflammation like its own monster (vitamin C + Vitamin D supplementation every night before bed), and agonised over who gets which treatment prescription/couples yoga sessions together. Also, this gorgeous crossfit thing is really dating everyone EXCEPT ME.
