The workout that made the biggest difference was 12x400m row, then 6 miles running. Running has always been my biggest problem in crossfit, but I don’t think it’s much of a shame when you consider how much time you spend doing other lifts in class, too!

I’d make more people aware of how important free weights are to their fitness routine. There are exercises out there which only use your body weight and your core strength – anything where great cardio is thrown in can even be done without lifting weights or using machines at all if you’re into that kind of thing!
