Answer: For me, circuit training is something I used to do way back in the early days of CrossFit. It was my first exposure to non-traditional strength and conditioning practices that didn’t involve heavy barbells or kettlebells or any kind of equipment. It consisted of small bouts on the bike, scooters, rowing ergometers and elliptical machines. Needless to say, I had an adjustment period with it. At this point in time I’m happy to be doing circuit training with people around the world who are really enjoying it as well! There’s so much variation now among crossfit gym owners with regard to their programming preferences, which has made thing even more interesting for me personally!
