For CrossFit there are three WODs that require minimal equipment. The first is the AMRAP (as many rounds as possible) which requires an empty bar to complete all movements. This means you may have to borrow a dumbbell or weight for this workout. If you have no extra weights, use small planks to complete burpees or handstand push ups. You can do these without any weight, just keep your hands on the ground and move forward into the plank position before jumping up in one motion once you reach shoulder height. This has never failed me yet! I’d suggest holding onto weak point exercises at least 10 minutes because let’s face it, not being able to self-regain strength takes away from your overall fitness levels after working out. Moving onto the 50 wall ball shots which is 24 dumbbell arm swings using 8lb dumbbells keeping them above your chest with each swing while holding a 1lb plate in both hands across your chest so they are touching your sides at all times. You should be moving very slowly doing lunges between each snatches too where again you should be adding additional weight if needed until reaching 40-50 reps for this exercise although I’ve found that after doing around 20 snatches during 1 set of wall balls it doesn’t take long until I couldnt get anymore due tot he high/low technique involved after what feels like nothing but air time!
