A: A ctb pull up is a type of muscle up. The difference is that the C and T will be held at shoulder width apart, instead of parallel to each other. this allows you to swing your body through the transition from the bottom back up to the top. It’s so much harder than it looks! Try it out next time you head down to the gym, hopefully it’ll help ya get over those butterflies 🙂

When Is The Deadline For The 2016 Crossfit Open?
You can submit an application as early as January 1st and as late as February 28th. There may be a delay however, depending on how many applications we receive and the standards we use to select those who qualify. If you’ll be traveling for meets or vacations that will likely be the deadline right before the CrossFit Games, which is usually mid-May through June. How Does The Deadline Work? You can submit your application online here. If you want to do it manually (and if you have access to a computer), send us a check along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Competition Central – Athlete Applications – 5201 W Chandler Blvd Suite 203 – Austin, TX 78735 by January 15th at 11:59 p.m. sharp! One of our three worldwide members from each region will review all applications within one week of receiving them and then choose two athletes from each region to move onto the second cut of judging where they’ll compete against another regional winner for one more spot in the top 20 contenders out of thousands around the globe! Be sure to include your name, phone number, city/state, email address and estimated time zone wherever possible so we can communicate details up front with less stress later!
Eddie Hall Just Broke a CrossFit World Record
Doing a Push-Up We posted this video in February so you could have a laugh at the world record for most push-ups done in a minute, but now Eddie Hall has broken it. This is what happens when you combine elite training with elite genetics. 9. Eric Lilliebridge aka ‘King of Bros’ Sets Single-Season Masters Weightlifting Record With 2204 P/90kg Bench Press In November, Eric Lilliebridge set a single-season US masters weightlifting record with 2204 pounds for an average of 90 kg /198 lbs on the bench press which is apparently what is known as a 777 or sumo deadlift depending on who you ask. Nevertheless, these are very impressive numbers and show that world class lifters can keep improving well into their 50s and 60s if they stay fit enough to compete after they stop having kids.
