The following are 4 things I have been able to do so far:
Week 1: the Clean and Jerk
In Week 1 of CrossFit, we did a max clean and jerk. In order to become certified as a physical training advisor, it is necessary for an individual to be able to teach certain movement patterns in the weight room. A few demonstration skills that can be taught during this week would include dropping into a clean grip (snatch), cleaning the barbell from overhead (clean) and standing in place with loaded barbell (power cleaning). Once you complete this movement pattern or demonstrate proper foundations for these three movements, you will then move on to learning more advanced variations like power cleans and push jerks.
