How Do I Convince My Scrawny Brother Crossfit Site:Forum.Bodybuilding.Com?
I have a brother that is only 4.3. He plays on the school basketball team, but due to his weight he is never given playing time which makes him very upset. I want to get him some crossfit workouts so he can gain some muscle or loose some fat. I also dont know exactly how to get started with this since my brother has this low self esteem, and will probably follow your advice anyway, without really even knowing that that was why you suggested it to him. However if anyone could do me a solid here i would be really appreciative! I have a brother that is only 4.3. CrossFit & Pregnant
I am pregnant with my second child. I am 5 months along and I have been doing CrossFit for 6 weeks now. But, since last week, I noticed that I fell off the rings for at least 3 times during the WODs. This is very hurtful to me because according to my coach, it can be dangerous for both mother and baby if you fall off the rings while you are pregnant. So here’s what I propose: My proposed solution is this: For every time after the first time that I fell, either on fat bar or on rings, he’ll do push-ups or pull-ups instead of additional ring repetitions. After 100 push-ups, 50 pull-ups or 50 squats he will perform an extra round of each exercise in their original form (i.e., three sets of 10 reps on fat bar / one set of 15 on rings). Additionally, if he falls again after these exercises are completed but before another round has started on either form follows up more lenient repetition/set schedule guidelines until he performs all reps/sets correctly without any further incident(s). He would also be required to move weights behind him while completing full standing burpee cycles rather than resting them beside him until completion of cycle & then moving them at that point or simply not attempting a burpee at all unless given specific permission by accident or due to accidentality facilitated by poor execution dependent upon recent injury recovery progress development plans plans plans plans plans plans plans
