What Crossfit Games Events 2015 Did Brooke Ence Win?
April 7th, 2015 By Ethan Huffman Brooke Ence was one of the first women to take home a medal for CrossFit Games 2015, finishing in second place at the 2014 U.S. Olympic Regional Event and winning her division even with some unorthodox gymnastic movements before flipping over and hoisting herself up on the bar overhead while performing lateral load deadlifts. The feat had Crossfit fans around the world wondering if Brooke could pull off some more crazy gimmicky tricks during this year’s competition, and she definitely did not disappoint when she entered today’s rippling rope climb event. Ence completed all five rounds of rope climbs with an average time of 9:26 (matching last year’s championship pace) and came up short during her final attempt where her foot had slipped off the rope — though it still took her one full minute less than runner-up Alfredo Morales to achieve what will surely go down as one of the greatest feats in CrossFit history:
Reebok CrossFit Cross Training Shoes for Women
$100 BUY NOW The Reebok Cross Training CC 2.0 looks like a fairly close match to the Adidas Pureboost in terms of features, and there’s less cushioning for Price than on their flagship shoes, but it still does an excellent job of delivering some serious support so long as you don’t overdo it with the intensity. Abrasion strips keep debris out of your footbed while its Hyper-Grip outsole maximizes traction on varied surfaces without breaking down too quickly. The cushioning profile isn’t exactly what we’d prefer, but if you can live with that then these are another solid shoe from the folks at Reebok.
