Crossfit can be very hard on your body. Before the show I like to do some light yoga exercise to prep my body for the demanding workout that’s coming up. Having said all of this, there is one thing that I do before every trip; an hour long warm-up or stretching routine. During this time, I always do dynamic stretches (like Eric Cressey’s High Knee Stretch) and mobility movements (ie: The Goblet Squat). Of course once you are warmed up, have a snack for energy along with some water to loosen your muscles after the workout. A cool down jog after the workout will allow you to completely relax in order to get ready for another round!
