Women And Crossfit “What Gives You Life”?
A study by the journal Self and Identity reveals that both men and women who do Crossfit self-identify more strongly as a man. Regardless of race, ethnicity, and age, Crossfitters – across genders and at varying levels of experience ” do not appear to be displaying qualities typically associated with femininity. In fact, they’re all but shunning it. In an online survey conducted among 1,500 members between January 2010 and February 2011, the scientists found that people who self-identified as male simply reported doing more athletic activities than women did.
