“CrossFit Open continues to be one of the most-watched and analyzed global fitness competitions, and we are humbled by the scale and volume of media interest we continue to experience around it. That volume makes this year’s event one of the largest in history as dozens more media outlets than ever before broadcast live from The Box as well as streamed our competition online. And as with past years, CrossFit Games regions experienced a surge in interest after the events wrapped up—and now that those Games have ended, our focus has shifted back to always staying true to what ‘The Games’ mean: a celebration of physical achievement, a venue for athletes who want a national spotlight on their athletic ability, and an outlet for audiences who love watching people do hard work together.
