Starting CrossFit is a critical pivotal moment in your life. In fact, CrossFit training can be as simple as walking over to the corner fence and saying “Hey do you want to join me?” I don’t think those people are missing out on much. I recommend waiting until after 6 months of regular exercise before starting CrossFit &/or TRX training. You definitely will get stronger at all aspects of fitness with more work so getting past this point will serve you greatly in the long-term development of your overall fitness level. I would focus more on building balance, strength & coordination since it is only after the first 6 months that maximum gains will be made in your ability to power through an entire full or wave, barbell lift or ladder or deadlift movement.
