Entering The Crossfit Open is free of charge, not that you would have much choice. Your best bet is to sign up online for the February 28th competition in Los Angeles and hope your toes don’t get stepped on by your fellow competitors. The main thing we learned about the open was that it combines a large group of people in one gym and that’s somewhat detrimental in terms of fitness because everyone doesn’t go home with the same amount of energy in their bodies. Our advice? Bring your own water bottle to avoid dehydration issues. We wouldn’t recommend doing this when it comes time for Regionals, though; you might regret missing out on some handstand push-ups!
